First Serious Instance

I just ran Uru for the first time. I was lucky enough to have a solid group (47 tank, 48 tank, 48 hunter, 48 guardian, 48 LM, 50 Min). It was really laid back and not stressful at all compared to WoW instances and raids. Not hard at all and really damn fun.

I want to run it again... you all need to sign on :)

You been runnin with the wrong crowd!
Our runs are similar to a LoL UT Match... much laughing, innuendo and guffawing! (with the exception that we actually win, i.e., finish the instance)

I was in a very hardcore endgame guild in WoW. Like 5+ nights (4-6 hour a night) of raiding per week and we were one of the 1st guilds on the server to clear BWL... which at the time was very hard (before everyone had guides / gear). To top it all off, I was often the raid leader and kept the guild's dkp system up to date. It was quite sad actually, lol.

The rift still comes off as being an easy instance for the most part, with the exception of Thrang and on.

i haven't played Lotro in any way like I used to play WoW. I couldnt even imagine it. I was a grad student during most of WoW, so I had a lot more free time. Now I work 50-70 hours a week, playing that way would kill me and my marriage :)

I do wish Lotro would add a 1 group rift type instance. I like running CD still, but even then there really isnt any 'uber' gear to be had. More rune of winged dominance tho! lol

Maybe we need to try BG more... that instance seems to always be looked over. Gear is soso, with a coupel exceptions, but no quest items. Which is why most people skip from running Uru / CD straight to the rift.

True.. leading the 40 man raids w/DKP can be stressful.

Blizz figured that out and stuck to 25 man runs.. and more loot drops.

We're doing pretty well up to T4 stuff & no DKP system; so far, everyone's happy!

the only loot ive really seen i like in bg is the bow and staff...and thats the first boss :P
