Some of the public things you can gather from videos and articles that are strewn about that I haven't heard much talk about.
Public Quests
Wide area quests that are automatically given when you enter the area. As many people (individuals or groups, doesn't matter) can do the quest as can fit in the area. These are more like mass gathering of items, mass killings, whatever. Once the quest goal is achieved, the players are rewarded based on participation.
Integrating Stories
Quests/missions aren't going to be simple one dimensional quests. The storyline is complex and completely integrated.
Hovering
There is a video out there that shows players using an ability to hover. I can't say what the pros & cons are of this at this time. It is, however, public knowledge that the game uses collision detection.
