Lion Fin Group Part 2

Monday night good for yall?


I would say our first attempt was a success. Sure, we had a few deaths, but everyone got some good exp, some people even leveled, and it was hella fun.

I thought of this while talking to Grundy. Grundy and I are having an easy time leveling as pbaoers, but we really don't want to pull ahead of everyone. Our goal is to get the 48 pbaoe then PL everyone up to us. Its hard to do fins with just Lions, since none of us have the 6 second bubble. But when Grundy and I have that top pbaoe, we will take down fins so fast that we could do it with just Mobace's 10 second bubble. Right now a bunch of Lions are "stuck" at a level. Grundy and I want to unstick ya.

We can't make the ideal superuber lion fin group yet, but what we did last time worked. Lets do it again. Hell, lets do it twice a week, just to give our "stuck" Lions a little push every few days.

Sounds good Boomie. From one of the stuck lions. I can't remember when I 42 but have been here a while. Not sure why, but I just lost a lot of the desire to do what it takes to level now. I tend to log and see if the lions are doing anything, and if they are not I go do something else(non-daoc). In the past I would just go to one of "Right" spots for my level and join a random group, but that doesn't really appeal to me anymore. If I'm gonna do the samething over and over for a few hours, I'd rather do it with lions;)

Boomie, this is a great idea. Count me in! I'm like Hammer, I really have no desire to take Gondo out and either solo or join a non-lion group. I hate to sound so xenophobic, but it's just not fun to xp at this level without the social aspect. Now, I can do it with Jammre or when I RvR with Gondo, because it is not so friggin' mind-numbingly boring, but the xp treadmill for Gondo needs a little LoL boost (two shots of tequila don't hurt either ;)).

Anyway, I'll be there for sure. Can't wait.

I'm there too! It's funny but I was just noticing that I don't really look for non-LoL groups with Phants either. I'd rather spend the time running around completing old quests and stuff than group up with other people. With Caddoch I group up with non-Lions all the time and it's fine, I don't know why it's different with Phants.

Anyway, I'm about 1.5 from 43 so I'll be looking forward to hearing that nice 'ding!' tonight :hump:

Not good for Morety and I we play hockey Mondays and don't get home till late. Morety's time home is more flexible than mine. 10:30 earliest for me.

Suggestion:

The fin tree in CF is almost always camped. We can try and do the fins in the frontier, they are between da Behnn and Crim. Since nobody ever goes there they should have nice fat camp bonuses, and we might just get some RvR in too ;)

Huh? Lion event with a level requirement? That does not compute. You are making no sense at all. Besides, we need big strong Sticky to protect us from da mean nasty Cursed Forest monsters.

We are going to try to get started at 9pm est . If we can't handle fins at first, we can do mindworms and poopas till we think we are ready for da fins.

Right now I am in a group with a second pbaoeer that is Grundy's level, and tanks that are about 44ish. The fins go down so fast we were able to handle pulls without a warden for a while. So even with Mobace's 10 sec bubble we should be fine.

Phants there is a fin spot north of the fin tee, and there is other stuff to pull there too. And no stinky albs.

Yea that was fun! and I think everyone had a good time..even those who died alot cuz at 40 you dont lose too much xp.

I m convinced I will be at the Fins till I hit 50. So anyone who is 40+ trying to level at Fin tree look me up cuz I prolly will be there crafting as I wait to get into a group.

Seems if I can't do fins, I'd rather craft. I like doing Fins with Lions, and don't like waiting for hours on a list I may never actually get on anyway.

I say if we can do Fins and make a group, let's do it no matter what time/day it is. The Boomie spot seems to be open for the most part.

Sounds good Morety. Got called into work last nite didn't make it. Darn. But if i'm in a fin group and we can make a lol fin group I'll leave. They always have a list going and I haven't got into a fin group from a list yet, so if i am in a fin group someone from the list can take my spot. Fars by the north fin tree are good exp too. They only come in twos.
