So I got an email from them this morning with a code and a link to a place they want me to run dxdiag and send them the results.

Did everyone else get those, too?

It's something you should've done when submitting.

It lets them know your system spec's and helps them decide who to invite for the beta.

It was on the signup, and showed what to do to save a copy in text format, and attach it.

Yep, I got that, and definitely do it. Your application is not "complete" without it. ;)
