Note who is seemingly responsible for the restriction of a free market and who is seemingly wed to the corporate structure. Jeb Bush. Does any republican here actually support the restriction of a free market in regards to standards put forward by some commitee?

Well who was Jeb Bush up against? I can't remember the last time I voted FOR someone when I went to the voting both. My votes are almost always to vote against the person I think is worse. So you might want to rephrase that question.

Other then that I go to vote for the levys or other things on the ballots

True, many people often vote against someone else instead of for someone. But there are also many who blindly vote along party lines, and even after someone performs less than stellar, continue to vote along party lines re-electing individuals who should not be re-elected.

The only reason people vote for one party or the other is basically on the issue of pro-life or pro-choice at this point.

The reason the republican position is so compelling is because it is one of ultimate compassion toward democrats. You see, if the Pro-life agenda really wanted to take the easy road, all they need do is *wait*. Let those democrats legalize, and even *incentivize* abortion. Within a few generation, pro-choice peoples would be extinct, and, since pro-choice people are typically democrats, the democratic party would dwindle and, ultimately, disappear. Then the republicans would be free to take office again and reinstitute a pro-life agenda for the sake future generations.

But, in attempt to live a life more closely in harmony with the compassion of Jesus Christ, *and* ecologically sound policy, the republicans are desperately trying to conserve the democratic population by struggling to institute pro-life statutes *now*, before it's too late. This noble conservationism of a self-destructive people draws many good hearts to the republican banner. A vote for republicans is a vote for the political environment--it's a vote for homodiversity. In short, it's a vote for the children.

Realizing that this issue is the most pressing, the preservation of a democratic population for future generations of americans to enjoy, attracts the vote of the true forward thinking american. Elephants have long memories, and even if democrats are asses, it's important to remember we're still all friends.

I agree that the Dem's are in it just as deep as the Rep's but where I stand most firmly as a Rep is in the concepts of small government and lack of government interference in trade such as detailed in the article above. Dem's aren't on that platform, Rep's are supposed to be against this crap, thats why I show disgust for one over the other.

That is definitely true. Unfortunately the candidates that both republicans and democrats are putting up are not really worth voting for in almost every office at this point it seems like to me

I don't know if it's just because we are given so much more information about the candidates now then we were before. But it seems like all of them suck.
