I signed up too, and in the part where they say 'please explain why you should be picked', I wrote the following:

I'm a huge Warhammer fan who got into the GW line of products when I was in my early teens. I'm not just a fan, but a fanatic, my loins all askew as I writhe in a pit of mud surrounded by rocks which I call my 'squig pen'. I've played MMOs now for years, and gnashed my teeth as each one tore a bloody chunk out of my soul and held it aloft, cackling: crying out 'See what this one has given us? And in return, we cause him only torment!'

Warhammer Online seems to be precisely the sort of game where the bloody chunk of my now, admittedly diminished existential organ, will redeem itself in 100%, FDA approved dubious gifts from the dark powers in the form of tentacles and fun, which is, frankly, redundant--when you say tentacles, we all know damn well you *mean* fun, and if you don't, by god, you should, or there's going to be hell to pay before breakfast--the time of the day in which it is least comfortable to pay hell. And that's what I did on my summer vacation. The End.

glad you put a link to that, my email had a signup to the euro servers, and after the mess they made of the euro daoc servers, there's no way i'm going on GOA's servers again.

[ edit ] had to select that i was in british columbia, canada to get the damn thing to submit. hope they still accept it though, or i'll be angry. been playing daoc long enough on mythic's servers...
