WoW's UI and movement were great and fluid, LOTRO's works pretty much exactly the same as WoW's but it always bugged me slightly, just doesn't feel as good.

The guild Klin got us into is a pretty cool group of people. Rather than a bunch of power gamers, they are into grouping up and having fun. Disaster is a bit pushy, but he means well... he is just young and overexciteable. The rest seem to be about the same age group as we have in the Lions with similar interests.

The guild leader last night said he wanted to hit 30 and then focus on getting more people into their 20's. I am of the mindset of doing exactly the same thing, so tonight I should either hit 30 or be close, and I know Nukor is almost 26 but with a ton of easy quests to make 30 in a day or two. I would love to be able to help people through their EPIC1 on Tuesday if we have some people interrested. I am not sure what the loot is for EPIC1, but the loot for EPIC2 was awesome.

As for the rest of "powerleveling", it works a lot different than DAoC. First off, the mobs con has a bearing only to that person. In other words, if the mob is orange to you, and there are 3 people in the group, you get 1/3 orange con xp. It doesn't matter if the mob is grey to anyone which is super nice. It allows for mismatched groups to help people blow thru quests that are say "Kill 10 bacon-eating Monkeys" or "Pick 11 flowers".

I haven't taken any screenies yet, but if I think about it later, I will grab some of the Elvish countyside...... pretty sweet looking areas all around, but that one is especially nice.

Okay, I have tried out 3 classes and like the Minstrel the best so far. On Meneldor, you can look for:

Akimbo - 9th elf minstrel
Altimar - 6th elf hunter
Bohdan - 4th human burglar

I play Nanuq, but my brother leveled one of the alts on my account (Polarbeer)

My brother and I also trade off playing Llaelyn (Brey's mini) when we are both online (since we cant play Nanuq and Polarbeer at the same time).

To make things even more complicated :P We just started leveling an alt on Brey's account to have more duo options.
