not really sure how to put it all together...

3.4 pentium d cpu

asus sli motherboard

2x 7300geforce sli vid cards

2x1gb ram.

gonna pickup a new tower,power supply,keyboard,mouse tomorrow...but i need to figure out which size PS to get. would 600wt be enough?

7300 in SLI? I think a 7600/7800 would be faster, easier, cheaper...

about had this computer in pieces a couple minutes ago hehe....turns out, dell likes to be evil and only makes their cases fit their special adapters...new tower tomorrow i guess ;)

Yeah, Dell cases are usually proprietary.

I like the dell cases, but only if you get stuff from them to work on them :p

As for putting it all together, your mobo should have a very good instructions on how to plug everything into the right spots - I wouldnt worry too much, pretty much everything will only fit into one slot or plug, if you have to apply more than a little bit of force you should probably stop and check what your plugging where...

yeah...went to compusa and took a look at what i'll need to pickup tomorrow...tower,PS,keyboard,mouse and maybe 2 hard drives.probly another $300 or so...

but thanks for the troubleshooting...nw computer is up and running.....now to find a kvm switch and my old router and cables....
