Stop looking at the upsides of what we oppose, DOWNSIDE ONLY! It is ironic, though, that issues of giving money to the poor has always been a bigger subject than immigration for the conservative side (just do a search on these baords), until of course, it's about abortion. Then immigration takes a front seat.

I don't agree with abortion in most cases, but immigration has never come into consideration as being a reason.

I thought the majority of our immigrants were Catholic, I don't know many Catholics that look favorably upon abortion. But I'm just making a general assumption :).

No they are saying that we have illegal immigration because we have so many abortions that there are jobs available for those illegal immigrants. If there weren't all those abortions there wouldn't be jobs for them.

Well I made that assumption to until I read the article. I couldn't understand how those things could be tied together. Of course with logic like they are using, it's hard to figure how anyone doesn't agree with them

Yea it has nothing to do with the fact that most illegals will work for little pay, because it is under the table.

In Michigan you can hire a illegal mexican to do roofing for 4 bucks an hour... and if you are lucky you can pay them by the square (4-6 bucks a square) and get even more bang for your buck.

Keep in mind most good roofers will charge around 12-15 a square for new and more if they need to do a tear off.
