Chaos looks cool but it also looks like every fanboi on the internet is going to play Chaos so I picked greenskins because they look simultaneously ruthless and hilarious :-)

I chose Chaos at this point, but that will likely change. I learned in DAoC long before there was ever an expansion conceived that humans had better stats than kobolds when it came to "dexterity" classes. I am willing to bet that having even stats between str/dex is going to be advantagous in this game, as well.

I promised myself I'd be a healer type though, so until I know which one I want to be I will go with those guys.

I also look forward to getting more information about what will be available. Also terrain might be a factor also. If there is more advantages to terrain then in DAOC, that might be something to think of. Since greens are going to be only using positions and fortificatinos that were constructed by others, I would presume they are going to start out at a weaker side of the war. though they do sound like they make these positions thier own after taking them. I would say this is like in DAOC if you the humans, dwarfs and other "good guys" start off owning the all of the towers and castles and the greens, chaos "bad guys" start off owning crap and have to take it away. This game will also have more of a bad versus evil to it then DAOC.

After doing plenty of population breakdown and analysis on DAoC, I absolutely fear what I call albion syndrome. Things like elitism breaks out, absence of effort among your realm to meet the realm's goals, and all-around disenchantment with your realm members in general. That has the highest chance of happening in the most populated realm.

Hep, that's almost a sure thing. I will predict one of two scenarios will happen; either guilds will be far more important than the realm (like in daoc, come on the elite guilds didn't give a crap about relic raids), or Mythic will introduce a lot of realm-wide incentives such as rewards for X number of supplies gathered to help the realm as a whole.

Don't forget, elves always have the hottest chicks in pretty much every MMO in existence... I didn't consider this before I made my choice. All the pre-teen noobs will probably choose one of the elven races.
