People at worked like this thing I saw on Rachel Ray:
Garlic Green Beans:
1. Steam green beans for 5 minutes in a sauce pan with a half inch of water/salt mix. I usually just cover the pan with a lid.
2. On low heat, melt one tablespoon of butter and add 5-10 cloves of garlic. Let the garlic heat until it is soft. Then just smash the garlic down and add in the green beans. Saute them for another 4 minutes before serving.
Smashing Potato:
1. Boil potato with skin in water for 30 minutes.
2. Drain the potato and smash them in the pot with a potato smasher.
3. Combine half a cup of milk with half a cup of sour cream. Add salt/pepper as needed before mixing it in the mashed potato. You can add more/less of the milk/sour cream mixture depending on how thick you want it to turn out.
Smoked Sausage
Just follow the instruction on the label. I just steam it with half an inch of water for 5 minutes. Drain the water and fry it for another 5 minutes with onion.
THis makes for an easy yummy dinner.
