ok so i wanna be a uber bard just like you!:goo: :hump:
so you say you think you might reroll to a 33 nurture 17 regrowth 44music 30ish blunt.
but what are you now? why you want to change?
and the biggest question is, YOu really bap stuffs with your blunt weapon? is bapping pretty effective? would you be considered a battle bard?
Oh and as a celt what should i put my 30 points in when i create so i can be UBERLISHOUS?
 :hump:
ummm... and any other good insites you might have... or anyone else's 2 cents is helpful too;) <boomy>
thanks soooo much...:cheese:

Hmmm...well, let's see. This is how I had originally planned on speccing:
43 Nurture (All but best power regen)
17 Regrowth (Handy 93 HP group heal, 165 spec heal)
44 Music (Best AE mezz and shout)
16 Blunts (leftover points)
This is how I am currently specced. I've been saving some spec points until I decided on a final template:
39 Nurture (Level 4 of all songs)
17 Regrowth
44 Music
4 Blunts
With respec now possible, I'm considering a couple of different options, all of which would keep Music at 44 for the best AE mezz and shout, and Regrowth at 17 for the small group heal. If I decide to go more support, I would bump up the healing a little from my original template and take the points out of blunt. Or, if I wanted to go the "battle bard" route, I could take some points out of Nurture and put more into blunts.
The thing is, RvR is verrrry different from PvE. And a purely support bard in RvR is totally dependent on his/her group. In a lot of pickup groups in RvR, when a battle breaks out, your group members run in all different directions, chasing whatever target they think they can beat, breaking mezzes and leaving you to fend for yourself. And what can happen is you'll get one person yelling that they're out of endurance, another yelling for speed, and another yelling for heals. The problem is, you don't know where the heck everyone is and they are probably out of range, anyway. Not to mention the fact that you're most likely getting beat down by a blue con while everyone is off doing their thing.
It's at those times that I really wish I had specced weapons higher. Bards are a huge target in RvR because of their AE mezz. And if your group doesn't work together as a team, you'll find yourself either dying a lot, or running a lot. Neither of which is very fun. And it's very frustrating if your only role is support, and you're not able to do that. You can end up feeling like a taxi/rez service.
But, there are those time in RvR when I'm in a good group and everyone works together. I'll run up and mezz a group of Albs. No one breaks mezz, and everyone sticks together. If a tank gets on me, I'll sprint around in circles and people in my group will get on him and learn him a thing or two while I kite him around. I'll heal, Lullaby casters and archers, switch to end during the fight and quickly back to run song to chase down stragglers. It's a lot of fun. And it's at those times that I want to spec high in Nurture and Regrowth. Because what I'm best at is support. And when I get to do it, and my group works *with* me, I really feel like I can make all the difference in a battle.
Geez, I said a lot there about why I'm thinking of repeccing...lol. Anyway, bottom line is, you have some time to decide. Initially, for getting experience, you will want to spec in Nurture and Regrowth, because groups will want you for your songs and healing. You can put off speccing in Music for a while, because you won't really have a need for the AE mezz until 30 or so, and you get the single target mezz for free.
As for how to distribute your 30 points initially, if I were creating a new bard, I'd choose a short celt and put 10 points each into Dex, Cha, and Con, for better casting times, more power, and more HPs, respectively.
Here's a handy dandy little guide that a bard from Pellinor wrote up. It should have everything you need there.

And here's a post I made for Sparky when he was rolling a bard:

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. :)
Oh, and yes, I really do bap stuffs in RvR. Usually just in the "bad groups," or when I'm going solo, which I like to do sometimes. And no, it's not incredibly effective, but it's kinda fun. :)
See Cy, I toldya Ailia knows all da stuffs! :D
Cy, are you making a bard for like a second character, or do you not like your enchantress anymore?
