Which side are we going to play?

In order to avoid the mistakes we made in WoW, let's pick a side/server and play there, like it or not. As long as we stick together it'll be fun.

This is just a preliminary poll, as there's way too much time to figure it out now.

Personally, I'd prefer whatever's least popular at the time, since they tend to have a better crowd overall...

And my primary concern right now is region! Any hopes of making it closer to the West Coast?

Good point, when WoW opened up we went Central... and then it scattered all over from there with the server transfers and stuff.

And I like the least popular as well. Although, with this game, I don't expect it to be a kiddiefest like WoW is as it has a more mature theme.

Chaos for me. though I dont know yet if I will be a priest-like class like in WoW or more a fighter like in DAoC, or if I better roll an overpowered caster right from the start...

I have no preference save that we get as many Lions as possible on one server.

I have no preference (not an option on the poll). Mainly I want to start with a group of people that have a clue (MMO wise) so that we can advance more quickly then the newb masses.

Ha Ha, we did die a lot in those early days didn't we? Next time we are grouped and I have to go afk for a sec, I'm just going to run into a mob and cause a group wipe, just to save the suspense:)

probly order for me, i played warhammer fantasy (the boardgame) through high school...and i remember how gay the high elves were :p

but in retro-spec, i'd rather play wood elves and make a pathfinder

dwarf deamonslayers were the meanest pimps i ever fought against.


but then i got into warhammer 40k....played eldar and never looked back.

And will they have a server system like WoW, or will it be like DAoC where everything's in the same time zone? I can't find anything mentioning that, though uh, half thetime I delete the newsletter *cough*.

I don't think wood elves're a race choice, just high.

hmm... Have you not all learned yet... First I will be a Archer type until they are nerfed... then I will move to the Rogue type... After they are nerfed I will move to the Zerker type... Then I will finally settle on the caster type for the rest of the game.

In my opinion, with videos like that, Chaos will by far be the most popular side. I would be apt to go with the least populated.

I also would prefer the lower population side. Since we are "bringing our friends with us", we won't be as dependent upon others.

chaos wont be that popular because:
#1 there are no hawt chicks
#2 only 1 of the 4 gods is represented by players
#3 chaos players wont look as cool due to the mutation thingy I assume

I think it will be the most popular.

1. They have the hottest chicks, the dark elf ladies, check out the video they've released, the only video.

2. They have the evil badguys that look like Sauron.

3. In the video, all of the order people look dull compared to the destruction peeps. This will taint public opinion...in my opinion :).
