I think you're going to be able to pre-order directly from Mythic/EA. That's the only way I know that they could tell you've pre-ordered.

I tried to sign up for the newsletter, but i never got an email. used the same mail address as my daoc subs, so i know it works and gets mail from mythic. guess i'm doomed to sit that beta out :(

Pre-ordering is probably like Guild Wars in that when you pre-order, you get a "pre-order package" that includes a key to get into the beta.

Hubby found a sizeable exploit late last year that garnered us each a personal note from Sanya and a choice of Mythic gifts (he got the mousepad, I have the pewter key fob).

Her note mentioned hoping to see us in their future expansion betas... Hoping that gets us early status for W.A.R. too!

I found/reported a huge hole in the zone wall one could use (if folllowed right) to get into Camelot Hills back in the day... All I got was a "DON'T MOVE" and a port to the PK (bastards could not even port me back to DL)... What was the exploit your hubby found?

Next time I find something like that I am just going to drive a raid of people though... teach them not to give me beta invites :D

You didn't report it to Sanya :p You had a low paid csr who just wanted to get through his quota on the /appeal queue.

It was an xp exploit... Basically when they put the ability to abandon quests in, there were certain quests that would end by giving you xp, but then the quest wasn't completed and removed from the quest journal until you received the item reward. If you abandoned the quest after you get the xp, but before you got the item. Rinse, repeat, make a a bunch levels in the 40s in under an hour... He gave them a list of a dozen or so quests that it worked on, only a couple that they were aware of.

not had a confirmation. checked, double and tripple checked the spelling, and tried 3 email addresses now aswell. also tried in firefox and in ie in case it was a browser thing.
i guess mythic don't like me any more :(
