Soft Pretzels

My wife loves soft pretzels, just wondering if anyone actually has made them? I'd like to make some for her sometime soon

Do you have a bread machine? The only time I made them, I made the dough in a machine. The second part of the equation, and the "trick" as it were, to that yummy soft crust, is that you give the shaped dough a quick dunk in boiling water before it goes into the oven. Bagels are made similarly. :)

Yeah we have talked about getting a bread machine. Good bread is awesome.
