Get a pot roast (boneless is what I normally use).
Line a baking pan with tinfoil.
Put the roast in the pan.
Put a pkg of Lipton's Dried Onion mix on it.
Put a can of cream of mushroom soup on it.
Close the tinfoil around the roast so it's fully covered (used two pieces of tinfoil if necessary).
Put it in a 325 degree oven for 4 hours.
Remove from oven and make sure to save the gravy at the bottom of the pan!

Nummers!!!!! I'm making this at the moment and it smells soooooo good!!!

I made roast yesterday!

Rubbed it with kosher salt, and pan seared it in a cast iron skillet on all sides, then transfered it into the crock pot. The crock was then filled with chunks of potatoes, onions, celery and carrots, and the entire thing liberally sprinkled with lipton's onion soup mix (dry) and then with about half a cup of water.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6h.

I made gravy from the juices with a little Wondra flour. Yummy!

Someone should seriously invent a way to send food through the wires. I could use some of that!

I have a great pot roast recipe, too. Very different from yours, and I cook it in the crock pot as well.

Oooh! Share! I've always been curious about the ones that use a can of coke or ginger ale, but never have tried them. What's your secret? :)

uhhhh it figures that I can't find it after I've told you about it. Seems to me I set the recipe card aside because it needs to be re-written or something.

I did find a different recipe I think you'll like until I can find that one!

Separate thread!
