Okay maybe I am a bit slow on the up-take, but I think I have the pants halfway down your ass thing.
Men who have no ass cover up thier lack by wearing thier pants almost to thier knees.
Thats my observation at least.

I use to wear my pants like that... Well when I was about 16ish. I have since quit wearing my pants like that. Just for the record I have been told by many women I have a nice ass.
Guys who wear their jeans at their waist instead of their knees show off their butts alot better. So YAY Noleader isn't a penguin anymore! And you should post a picture of yourself so that we wouldn't have to take other women's opinions about your buttfor truth :D ;) ! J/K.

That has got to be one of the more stupid fashion things to come along in a looooooong time.
I could never drive past those idiot kids posturing toughly with their pants hanging off their non-existent asses, and most of their underpants protruding out the top without giggling.
Then it would occur to me that they viewed this as somehow alluring to the opposite sex and that would make me giggle harder.

I doubt anybody is doing it to cover their 'lack of ass' or anything like that. It's to look cool, hip, jive, or whatever you want to call it. That doesn't necessarily contradict the fact that it looks absolutely retarded. But then again most fashion is absolutely retarded anyways. Capri pants anybody?

I'm with spyder, all fashion is for the dorksters in life. I wore jeans and a t-shirt when I was 5 years old, when I was 10 years old, when I was 15 years old and even now, nearing 30. I've been tempted to go the Einstein route, only have the same outfit everyday, in order to save brain power on the need to choose what clothing I would wear.

The pants halfway down your ass thing was starting amongst the kids who thought they were gangsters when I was in junior high (mid-late 80s) in Southern California.
Funniest Jr. High moment ever?
Mrs. Beardsley, an older (in her 50s probably, maybe older) teacher, but a favorite amongst students... I distinctly remember her saying "Jimmy Reason! You pull those pants up where they should be, or I'm gonna pull them down!" Jimmy Reason was wearing pastel pink levis, hovering mid-buttock over boxers.

Wow I had no idea that this was such a hot topic.
I must say that I love telling this guy at work that his shorts look nice every day. He is the owners son. I did this in front of his mom the other day and she asked if those were the ones she bought him or the ones his girlfriend bought him. I was rolling with laughter, till I commented that if her other son lifted his shirt up we would probably see 4 inches of boxers on him to. Then she looked at me and said no we woundn't, he probably doesn't have any on cause they are all dirty.
Well though I had a good giggle I must say TMI.
And also all of the guys I have seen going with this trend seem to have almost non-existant asses, and these are not the gansta wanna be types, they just like to wear very very low riders.
Ok guys are one thing since most of them don't actually show their butt when they wear these baggy pants beacuse of the boxers. But I've been noticing an increasing amount of girls wearing super-low jeans that don't cover squat when they bend over. UGH I hate it! It's sooo nasty seeing a plumber's butt...on a guy or girl. WELL....'cept when the guy has a nice ass...then it might be ok. Might.

I totally disagree.
Clothing play a big role. I mean if im walking down the street and I see a cute girl wearing an eye patch, bandana, dirty lose fitting cloths and so on I hardly think Im going to look at her for more than 20 seconds. So really she could be hot, but I wouldnt look at her long enough or past the dirty cloths to see if she was or not.
My ex worked with me at McDonalds. She wore cloths that hardly fit her at all. Her shirt was too big, the visor was ugly, the pants were made for girls with big hips and she just didnt look that great and I never really noticed her at all during the shift.
One day I saw her get out of her mothers car in her catholic highschool outfit (short skirt, button up shirt) with her hair done up nicly. I almost fell flat on my face.
Had I never saw her in her cute outfit I may not have spent the time to get to know her.
Yeah its pretty shallow I know. But fuck, its the way guys (at least the kind of guy I am lol) work.

See for me if a girl has to be done up to notice her... then she probably isn't all that to begin with. Obviously if she's wearing dirty clothes, or clearly hasn't showered in a while that removes her from the possibility of being hot.
that's just the way I see it anyway...

You know what's funny? Some guys proclaim to prefer low-maintenance women, but all the things they like on women are things that require a lot of maintenance. Like, they'll complain if a woman takes an hour to get ready, but they still want everything to be waxed, styled, tweezed and painted. Those things take time, dammit!
It is interesting though. Is there a woman anywhere who actually enjoys spending 30 minutes a day just on hair? Is there a woman anywhere who wouldn't absolutely love the simplicity of being out of the house 5 minutes after showering? I think most women hate feeling like they have to do all that stuff all the time, don't they?

That’s pure idealistic garbage.
Allia is dead right. Every guy says he wants a low-maintenance girl but once he get her, he soon realizes how not so hot that is. Let me put it in a different perspective.
My gf is cute, she spends about 30-40 minutes to get fixed up. She doesnt every day. Although the days that she does I always find myself more attracted too her, obviously. Now, my girly is cute dressed up or not. I love her and I dont think shes "ugly" when shes dressed down. however I wont lie and say I like her as much both ways. If I had my way she would spend 4 hours every day in the salon getting ready for me. Im sure she feels the same way lol.

No that's not pure idealistic garbage for me anyway. Obviously you're going to like the way someone looks better when they have gone all out to look their best.
I'm fairly certain that your girl likes the way you look better to when you've just gotten your hair cut and are wearing a suit/tuxedo or something.
All I said is that if a girl has to get all dolled up for you to notice her then she probably isn't really all that to begin with. Because once that make up comes off and regular clothes are on , then you're going to see what she really looks like.

Not sure why that's an idealistic opinion? isn't each persons ideal opinion different?
edit: not to mention that if you were to live together with your girl Yarr, how would you expect her to be when you just have a day where you don't really go anywhere? Still tracking my way through this thread, so I apologize if this has been shared already...
Supposedly this style comes from prison. I was told that belts are not permitted in prison since they can be used as a weapon or to commit suicide. I do not have any personal knowledge to dispute this comment, but it seems reasonable considering the mentality of most of the "people" who follow this trend.

<snip> WELL....'cept when the guy has a nice ass...then it might be ok. Might.
Anyone else noticing a trend here? I think Inez is a butt girl. For clarification -- I am a leg man, the longer the better. Love those tall women!

Height never really concerned me much. I am big on nice ass/legs and chest is just an added bonus. Thing I am most picky on is weight.
The girl I am talking to now is around 5'11" and weights maybe 140ish...

One would think that and would be very very wrong...
It is not that she does not eat... she just does not gain weight. She is skinny but not to an unhealthy level.

I need my women with a little meat, to keep me warm in the winter. My Ex-wife was 5'11 and 140ish, and I always felt like I was gonna break her if I handled her too roughly.

I wondered that about her too. Never did break her though.

That girl is too short for you Noleader, you need one at least 6 feet tall to continue your ginormous genes.
