Dark Age of Camelot
Test Version 1.82h Release Notes
Class Changes and Cross Cluster Guilds and Alliances
February 13, 2006

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- Thanes, Bainshees, Warlocks, Infiltrators, Nightshades, Friars and Shadowblades will all receive a forced full respec upon login. (Note: Stealth for assassins will now respect autotraining respec rules.)

- (Pendragon Only) Forced respecs now award the correct number of skill points. Characters who have logged in with earlier versions will have slightly more skill points than they would otherwise.

- (Pendragon Only) Players will no longer zone in to mid air within the Lions Den.

What does the highlight part mean?? ...that Autotraining points will be rewarded with respec if you autotrained?? ...or that Autotraining points will be blown away??

So does that mean that anyone who used autotrain for stealth to squeak out a few extra points is gonna lose it when this patch comes out?

I beleive it was to fix a bug with the patch that showed up on pendragon. Saw a VN post where a stealther logged on to pendragon and got extra points as if he had autotrained. Sounds like this was just to keep people from getting extra points when they had not autotrained.

the problem is if you did autotrain and are forced to respec you will lose your autotrained extra points

What's the big deal about auto training... even if you fully auto train you get like 37 extra points right? is that really worth all the hassel?

Actually it's 77 points... you can autotrain stealth to lvl 12.

That's quite a bit...

77 points is quite a bit? how is that? it gets you 2 more points of pierce/blades whichever you pick. or 2 points of envenom which you would be getting from RR3 anyway. Can't see that it's really that big of a deal. Certainly by the time you're RR5 it is going to make absolutely 0 difference

Dunno what it means yet, if it allows for autotraining, or works against it. Go test it out with a respec.

test it now on pendragon, it is just to fix a bug with the respec that was giving extra points to toons that had not autotrained.
